Cerebral Palsy
I
have a Masters in Psychology
from Walden University (2002). Prior to this, I earned an Associates
degree in Liberal Arts from Brookdale Community College (1994) and a
Bachelors in Psychology from Monmouth University (1999). So now, I am
volunteering and job hunting! If an employer offered me a job
position regarding on-line teaching, on-line counseling, data entry,
web design, proofreading / editing, or freelance writing, it would be
an honor and a privilege.
Designing
web pages, learning to program in Java, strolling along
various boardwalks, finding people to talk to, and wheelchair dancing
are a few things that I enjoy.
Oh
yes, I am a thirty-five years old swf who has a severe case of
Cerebral Palsy. Being in a wheelchair doesn't stop me from living. All
this means is that I cannot stand and walk at all. Also, I do not type
with my fingers or my toes. So, ballroom dancing is out of the question
unless you are willing to hold me tight in your arms.
I
am ever searching for a man who can see beyond my Cerebral Palsy.
Although Cerebral Palsy is not contagious, my winning attitude is. It
would be nice to be able to share life experiences with a compassionate
person whom can carry on a conversation, think for himself, and set off
fireworks with his positive contributions. If given the opportunity, we
can make beautiful music, together. In addition, we can have fun
showing the world that being different is totally awesome!
Since
I don't know anything about you, be prepared to answer a series
of questions, read my VERY PERSONAL web page, etc. Feel free to
interview me as well. I would prefer to e-mail for awhile because
speaking to complete strangers on the phone would be a disaster due to
having a speech impediment.
