Matchmaker Personal Ad

Michelle, SoCal, stroke survivor, 42, looking for...

I have been a member of many singles groups.  I have submitted my profile and responded to ads.
I had been honest in my ad and
responses that I stated I am disabled.  And it showed that my ad had been viewed many times but I never received a single response.  And for all the ads I responded to, again, I was honest and stated "Your ad interested me so I'd like to be honest in the beginning that I am disable, please let me know if my response still interests you or not.  I'd appreciate your response."
But as soon as they saw that
word "disabled" I never heard from them again.

That went on for the last few years.  I was then introduced to a few disabled groups, it was mostly comments and questions pertaining to the disabled.  They were very nice groups with several intelligent and wonderful Moderators.  Then the subject of the devotees was brought up and many people corresponded their opinion of devotees and that wasn't a popular subject.  But that got me to think of the stories that I had been told, so I started to feel more and more like I'd like to experience having a relationship with a devotee.  I just feel that since devotees are willing to accept our disabilities, that we can also enjoy the advantage that while being with a devotee means that they can help to do some things that we normally ask our attendants to do.

Let me tell you a bit about myself:

My name is Michelle.  I am 42 years old.  I am 5'9", thin.  I am divorced.  I live in Northridge, just North of Los Angeles in The San Fernando Valley of Southern California.  I had a car accident in '81 that caused a stroke in '86 leaving my entire left side paralyzed confining me to a wheelchair.  Going out on dates I don't feel the need to spend a lot of money to have an enjoyable time together.  I think an enjoyable day would be where the guy picks me up in his car and we take a blanket, a radio, some games (I.E. Backgammon) and some bread.  Then we can go to a park and feed the ducks with the bread we can tear up, then go spread the blanket to sit on while we talk while we play cards and listen to the radio.  I like to listen to music.  Depending on my mood at the time determines the kind of music I'll choose, but I hate Rap (to me that's noise).  When I'm home I enjoy surfing the net, exercising my limbs and reading.  It's nice to take walks, in my wheelchair, and breath in the fresh air while admiring the lovely houses and creative landscaping.  I like to go out to see movies.  I enjoy drama, crime, murder mysteries, love stories and comedies.

Type and qualities of a man, or devotee, I am looking for:

He is between 42 - 48 years old, between 5'9" - 6'2", living in The San Fernando Valley of Southern California, average weight, never married or divorced.    Qualities: caring, masculine, devoted, passionate, sincere, energetic, protective, loving, funny, understanding, considerate, gentle, nurturing, intelligent, tolerant, kind, loyal, affectionate, sensitive and romantic.      Just someone who also knows that just the couple being together can be entertaining enough so money doesn't have to be spent.      I have a photo of myself in my Yahoo profile and more photos of myself in my online inbox.

Any questions, comments or responses please contact me.
